I changed the timing belt at the 60K service. I presently have 99,500 and it's still trouble free. This vehicle doesn't drive like a car so check out the SUV market before buying. All that said I would still definitely recommend this vehicle. It's a very reliable and durable truck. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Mitsubishi's Customer Service absolutely has to be the poorest in the whole automotive industry. They should try to steal some of Infiniti's or Acura's customer service ethics. Ride quality and cross winds(cured with aftermarket shocks), cold morning warm ups. Vague steering. More trucklike less carlike. | | | Previous car: | Looked at Land Rover Discovery(95) extensive service cost.Looked at Land Cruiser a lovely vehicle but too expensive and Montero has more power for that year. |
