| | Model of the car: | Montero LS | | | General comments: | It's difficult to find anything bad about this machine. After 11 years of ownership and 108K miles, all that has been needed is scheduled maintenance, and a malfunctioning rear door lock switch. It off-roads well, despite its length, and has been into Canyonlands via Bobbys Hole with no problem. Still no squeaks or rattles, even with some pretty severe use. On the highway the ride and handling are both pleasant and confidence-inspiring. 12 years old and still no rust! | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | High profile creates problems on the highway in strong crosswinds and when behind 18-wheelers.
