| | Model of the car: | Mitsubishi Montero V6 | | | General comments: | Excellent value, paid $6K for low mileage 98k. Had it been a 4runner, would have cost >$8000 for a 4banger. Perfect for the Tahoe run and off-road excursions...pretty much goes anywhere. People still stare at it, wondering what it is..pretty unique. Too bad they don't bring in the new ones.(still in production in Korea under Hyundai). If you can find one..last year is 90..get it! check for the fastory LSD and automatic tranny | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Gas mileage isn't the greatest, at 19mpg(best) and 11yrs old with oversized tires..can't complain.A little expensive parts, but at least they don't break down like the american trucksNot your super aerodynamic modern truck..lol..little wind noise | | | Previous car: | 1985 montero lwb 2.6L...much better in every sense. |
